Privacy policy for Card Maker Messages explains exactly what is stored and what is not. Cards are built entirely inside your browser, photographs you add never reach our servers, and no sign up is needed to get started to create, download or share a card. This page sets out the limited data we do handle and why.

The card maker processes message text, settings and uploaded photos inside your browser. Your current card may be stored in local browser storage so you can resume it, but the site does not upload the photo or card content to a server. The site does not sell card content or uploaded photos to advertising networks. Email addresses entered through the sign-up form are stored for access and communication.

What information stays on the device?

Card wording, names, design settings, favourites and uploaded photo data may be stored in your browser’s local storage. This allows the tool to restore an unfinished card. Use the Start again option or clear site data in your browser to remove it.

Are photos uploaded?

No. The card image is rendered using browser canvas on the device. Exports are created locally. Do not use a shared computer for private images unless you clear the card afterwards.

What happens when I sign up?

The email address is stored securely outside the public website files. A time-limited verification link must be opened before unlimited access is enabled, which helps block automated and mistyped sign-ups. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or contact the site owner. A secure browser cookie and local device setting remember verified access.
